PSYCHEDELIA  AND BEYOND

From 14th - 30th march 2019 Lucy Sangers put on an exhibition of my work at Pop in the White Moose. She wanted to do an interactive show, posters, lightshow, music from the psychedelic era of the late sixties and early seventies. We got free rein to do what we liked in the gallery, so the construction team of Jane and Rachel Hurford, Scarlet Frobisher, Rowena Zoro and Lucy herself put up false walls, painted it all purple and dressed the set in sixties style. Jane filmed a lightshow that she'd made, I made a mixtape of the music of the time, I had posters printed to advertise the show and screen printed to sell. It all looked good, hundreds came to the preview, and to the show over the next couple of weeks. Jess of Shiminix Films took many of the photos I've used on the page.
